Customer Reviews: 1 of 1 found this review helpful: Works great for baby's eczema., 2008-06-07 Our baby had eczema and we used steroid cream for a little while. It didn't help much. Then we tried this and it really is amazing - our baby has not had any problems with eczema after using the Aveeno Eczema cream. Can't even tell our baby has eczema anymore. We couldn't believe that something without steroids and is over the counter could work so well. We know of other babies for whom this worked better than prescription drugs. I agree - it would be a real shame if Aveeno did not make this anymore. This is a fantastic product. 2 of 2 found this review helpful: Discontinued?, 2008-06-02 I would say that I have a fairly mild case of eczema, but since I've started working in China my eczema REALLY flairs up because of the air pollution. I started using this product about a week ago and while not perfect it's much better than any other product I've used so far. My only real complaint is that it doesn't provide instant relief from itching. However, it seems to do a pretty good job of healing sores and reducing inflammation. Unfortunately it appears this product may have been discontinued, which is quite surprising as it's only been on the market for about a year. I sent an e-mail to Aveeno and this is what I got back: "Thank you for contacting the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. Information Center. It is always important to hear from our consumers, and we appreciate the time you have taken to contact us. With regard to your recent inquiry, Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company Division of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. is suspending shipments of AVEENO® Eczema Care Body Wash and Moisturizing Cream effective immediately. We are re-evaluating our marketing position for these products, and plan to return them to the marketplace as soon as possible." "Effective Immediately" is right! Take a look around and you'll have one hell of a time finding it anywhere. I'm not really sure what "re-evaluating our marking position" means, but I have my doubts it'll be coming back, which would be a real shame. 1 of 2 found this review helpful: Absolutly amazing!! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!, 2008-05-28 This stuff is amazing!! I have gone through 3 dermatologists that prescribed a total of 2 steroid creams, 4 moisturizers, and an oral steroid to provide a solution for the severe eczema on my fingers. Nothing worked. I have tried EVERYTHING!! I started using this lotion 2 months ago, and within days of the first use my fingers were normal, pain and itch free for the first time in over 6 years!!! It's been amazing!!!!!!! I would like to mention though that it would be ridiculous to pay $30 for it on amazon.com because you can get it at walmart, target, meijer for around $5-$7 a tube, go there! I'm sure that you'll find it at places like Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid too! Amazon needs to quit marking things up so horribly! It's awful, and disgusting! That being said, TRY THIS LOTION!!!!!!!!! It will bring you relief that you didn't realize was an option for you!!!!! 0 of 0 found this review helpful: I love this stuff, 2008-05-25 I have two girls who both have eczema. The lotion my doctor told me to use made my youngest cry and did not seem to do much other than make them greesy. One day while looking at the Nationl Eczema Associations website I saw that they recommended this lotion and the body wash that goes with it. So I thought I would try it. It was like magic! No more steriod creams or anything else that is harsh. I wash both girls in the body was and apply the lotion every diaper change. And as long as I do so, you can not tell they have the ichy rash at all. I love this stuff!!!
